Where we Play to Heal

We partner with communities to train leaders in creating safe spaces that promote pathways for healing in their community through the integration of sport and art. We do this by gathering youth and families, community leaders, and key stakeholders in local institutions to help shape and co-create a collaborative intervention by conducting on-site assessments and identifying local resources and leaders. We then provide coaching and training through didactic workshops and experiential learning in competence-based peace education and trauma-informed work on how Play to Heal can be used to improve psychosocial well-being and support basic conflict analyses and conflict mapping in their context.
